ECU Electronics Industrial Co., Ltd. is located in Hefei Hi-tech Zone, which is the largest High-tech Industrialization base in Anhui Province. Established in Nov. 1992, our corporation has received a total investment of 27.5 million RMB from China Electronic Technology Group No. 38 Research Institute.
Adhering to the belief in the past ten years, ECU has been ranked among the leading manufacturer of initial products - Model R transformers and has improved our brand image, as a professional power supply manufacturer by following the advanced power supply technology and concept around the world.
In June, 1995, ECU acquired the title of "Outstanding High-tech Enterprise of Anhui Province", In August, we passed UL certification, followed closely by the entry into foreign market.
In 1998, ECU cooperated with Tamura Corporation, a well-known Japanese manufacturer of transformers, and established a joint venture, "ECU Tamura Electric Co., Ltd. ", cooperating in the production of EI transformers.
In 2001, ECU organized own professional research and development team for the development of new products and marched towards the field of switching power supply.
In 2005, as a complement for military production, ECU established a Special Component Department, producing high energy pulse capacitors, components and high-voltage transformers.
In July 2006, ECU moved out from the businesses of R-core transformers and Toroidal transformers to ECU-Tamura products for strategic goal. We are devoted to power supply and relative component businesses wholly now.
A series of products concerning switching power supplies and relevant components, self-developed by ECU, have been widely applied in military and civilian fields such as industry, communications, finance, healthcare, protection, and airborne equipment. 60% of all these products are exported to foreign countries.
By integrating market resources and daring innovation, ECU has made arduous efforts and reaped in recognitions:
In 1999, the products passed the certification of ISO9002: 1994;
In 2006, our corporation was certified by the Ministry of Information Industry as the "qualified supplier of electronic components for military purpose", and received the "Certificate for the research and production of military-grade electronic devices". Series of our products have been compliant to RoHS system.
In Nov., 2006, the products passed the certifications of ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 Health and Environment Safety System; In the DEC., of the same year, products passed the certification of GJBISO19001: 2000.
In June, 2007, with the help of outstanding market performance and solid technological power, ECU was ranked in "Top 100 Electronic Component Producers in China".
In Sep., 2007, series of power supplies charging for lead-acid batteries passed CE certification.
At the end of 2007, our corporation passed the product certification of advanced science and technology in Anhui Province and was conferred the title of "Certified Technological Center of Anhui Province".
